The latest PSA was centered around the new Team Rubicon tagline "Built to Serve". We wanted to incorporate the message of our veterans as a resource and our communities as resilient. As always we avoid the dramatic narrative of a broken community and broken veteran. Sam Elliot, legend of "Lonesome Dove" and "Road House" (among other favorite movies and TV series), generously lent his silky smooth bass to the script written by Kirk Jackson of Going Home Pictures. Airing on HISTORY and various cable networks.
Team Rubicon needed a rallying cry that tied in the supporters, veterans & volunteers, and supporting cast of people making up the backbone of Team Rubicon. I kept coming back to the single word "Purpose".
IAEM approached us with a need to put together two videos leading up to the first Emergency Managers Awareness Month in August 2025. This video is the 'evergreen' version of the final video. Both videos were completed on a tight timeline, requiring travel to active disasters.
