DOCUMENTARY LEGAL VIDEO PRODUCTION

GOING HOME PICTURES | KIRK JACKSON

There is a difference between recording a client's story and telling it. As a filmmaker, I understand narrative, pacing, and human emotion to produce something an opposing counsel, mediator, or jury cannot easily dismiss.

SERVICES

I produce documentary-quality legal videos for plaintiff-side attorneys — bringing the craft and sensibility of a documentary filmmaker to some of the most consequential storytelling your clients will ever be part of. I can film original footage or work with existing footage and/or Zoom recordings.

Video Deposition Recording and Editing - Long-form recorded interviews distilled into emotionally coherent short-form presentations — shaped for maximum clarity.

Mediation Videos / Settlement Documentaries - For complex, high-value cases requiring a deeper narrative approach — layering context, supporting visuals, and damages into a single piece.

Evidentiary Video Editing - Multi-source footage — including bodycam and surveillance — synchronized and structured for evidentiary presentation.

Day in the Life Video - A clear, credible visual record of how injury or loss has altered your client's daily reality. Understated, credible, and built for real litigation timelines.

THE APPROACH

I work solo, start to finish. No crew to overwhelm a vulnerable client. No outsourcing. You work with me directly through every phase — from initial conversation to final cut. I can create new content or craft something with existing resources.

My perspective is one of my most valuable contributions. I approach the video subjectively and objectively — trying to see through the eyes of your client, the mediator/judge/jury, and opposing counsel.

Footage can be recorded via Zoom (with proper HD settings) or in-person in a one or two camera setup with professional audio.

My background is in documentary filmmaking. For over nine years I served as Head of Digital Media at Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster relief organization, producing content in active domestic and international disaster zones — often under pressure, always with people navigating the hardest moments of their lives. I have also produced content for The Archway, a Fort Worth-based nonprofit providing comprehensive support and shelter to survivors of domestic violence.

I handle all case materials, client identities, and correspondence with strict confidentiality. Since 2020, attorneys have trusted me with their clients' most difficult moments — a responsibility I do not take lightly.

I am Los Angeles-based but available nationwide.
